Common health questions and answers
Do I have to be a member to use Thyme?
No – we offer a comprehensive range of services which you do not have to be a member to use. This includes private GP/Nurse appointments (in-clinic and virtual), blood tests, health checks, preventative tests including gut health, hormones and Wellman/Wellwoman checks, and much more. The Services section of the Thyme website details our range of offerings. If you’d like to discuss these with us, you have a few options: you can call us on +44 (0)330 088 2020 and select to speak to the Sales team. Alternatively, you can send us a message via the button in the footer of this website. Or, if you wish to explore which testing service(s) might be most relevant for one of our practitioners, you can book a Discovery call via the Testing page of our website.
Who can I speak to if I have questions about my membership?

Do I need any identification at my first appointment?
Yes, we would advise you to bring a form of photo ID, such as a driving licence or your passport, so that we can ensure a seamless check-in when you arrive at one of our spaces.
Can I see my Private GP virtually or have a phone consultation?

What if I need to see a Thyme private health consultant outside of your opening times?
You can speak to us outside of clinic hours – a member of the team will discuss your enquiry, take your details and get the most relevant member of the team to contact you at the earliest opportunity the next day. We do not provide medical appointments outside of clinic hours. If you need urgent medical attention, we advise clients to call emergency services immediately.
Will there be any additional costs after I sign-up for my membership?
If members utilise services that are outside of the scope of what is included in their membership, or have fully utilised their particular allowance of services, they can continue to use Thyme’s services on a pay-as-you-go (PAYG) basis. Our Quick Reference Guides for each membership provide a full breakdown of what is included in your allowance including the PAYG price for additional services.
